Our client, a prestigious boarding school based in Milnthorpe, is looking for an enthusiastic Cleaner to join their team from Monday 4th November on a temp to perm basis. The hours are Monday - Friday, 3pm - 6pm. 15 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
* Clean designated areas of the school site as assigned by the cleaner in charge.
* Follow instructions from the Site Manager regarding the use of cleaning materials.
* Utilise cleaning machinery, such as vacuum cleaners and polishers, to ensure both soft and hard surfaces are sparkling clean.
* Maintain strict confidentiality regarding school-related matters, respecting the importance of sensitive information.
* Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times.
* Vacuuming both hard and soft floors.
* Swiftly spot cleaning any spillages.
* Wiping and polishing furniture, ledges, pipes, paintwork, doors, and door glass.
* Emptying and cleaning waste and recycling bins.
* Ensuring toilets are thoroughly cleaned, including sanitary fittings and surrounds.
* Mopping and spray cleaning hard floor surfaces.
* Maintaining the appearance of furniture by wiping, polishing, and straightening.
* Restocking supplies in toilets and classrooms.
* Checking windows and switching off lights at the end of each shift.
* Assisting with other duties as allocated from time to time.
Requirements:
* Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleaning tasks.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team.
* Knowledge of health and safety practises.
* Previous experience in a similar role is desired but not essential.
