Protocol Education is working with a specialist SEND school seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), complex medical needs, and Autism. Main Duties: Supporting pupils with learning activities Assisting with personal care and feeding where required Supporting sensory-based learning programmes Working alongside therapists and healthcare professionals Promoting communication and independence Recording observations and pupil progress Working Hours: Monday: 8:30am – 4:00pm Tuesday: 8:30am – 4:00pm Wednesday: 8:30am – 3:45pm Thursday: 8:30am – 4:15pm Friday: 8:30am – 3:15pm The Ideal Candidate Will: Have experience working with SEND pupils (desirable) Be caring, patient and proactive Be comfortable supporting personal care needs Have excellent teamwork skills Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply and pay for one Be available on a full-time basis Safeguarding Statement Protocol Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
