Reporting Actuary
Our L+P client is looking for a highly skilled Reporting Actuary to join their team for a 4 months initial contract.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce and validate actuarial results for IFRS 17 or Solvency II reporting cycles.
* Support financial reporting, valuation, and capital management activities.
* Develop and maintain actuarial models using tools such as Prophet, RAFM, or equivalent.
* Collaborate with Finance, Risk, and wider business teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of results.
* Contribute to process improvements, controls, and documentation standards.
* Provide technical analysis and clear commentary to support business decision-making.
Skills & Experience
* Qualified Actuary
* Strong background in life insurance actuarial work (eg, valuation, reporting, modelling).
* Practical experience with IFRS 17 and/or Solvency II regulatory frameworks.
* Proficiency in actuarial modelling software and Excel; programming skills (eg, Python, R, VBA) beneficial.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities.
