Job Description
We are supporting a large, well-established organisation in the search for a People Analytics Team Manager. This is a key leadership role for someone who can bring strong people management skills, confident stakeholder engagement, and the ability to shift HR reporting from data-heavy outputs towards meaningful insights that shape decision making.
The role
You will lead a team of seven (including two incoming apprentices), ensuring they are in the right roles, supported, and delivering high-quality work. The team already provides a range of HR reporting — from absence, turnover and sickness data, through to monthly scorecards, service KPIs and dashboards for the HR Directors and Executive Committee.
The focus now is on stepping beyond data manipulation into meaningful analysis. Stakeholders, particularly at HRD level, are looking for insights they can act on, and you will be central in setting expectations, pushing back when needed, and ensuring the team’s outputs are valued at the highest level.
While you won’t be hands-on with reporting on a daily basis, you’ll be expected to support your team with guidance, challenge, and coaching, alongside managing stakeholder conversations.
