* Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
* We are on a mission to raise the standard of education provided to young people with SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities), as well as other needs such as SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health). We are increasingly supporting children and young people with MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties), and PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties). Qualifications & Experience
* Experience: 2+ years teaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma‑informed way.
* Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
* Qualification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
* Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references.
Location & Conditions
You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote/online jobs.
Safeguarding
Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
Compensation
Sandown, Isle of Wight – £28 – £35 per hour.
