Job Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Civils Gang - Sub contractor to join our team in St Mawes, Truro, UK. As a Civils Gang - Sub contractor, you will be responsible for managing a team of workers and overseeing the completion of various civil engineering tasks. Key Responsibilities
* Manage and lead a team of workers to complete various civil engineering tasks such as excavation, grading, and paving.
* Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
* Monitor progress and quality of work to ensure that deadlines are met and work is completed to the highest standards.
* Coordinate with project managers and other contractors to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.
* Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any potential issues or concerns.
* Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and labor hours.
Requirements
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
* Proven track record of successfully managing and leading a team to complete projects on time and within budget.
* Extensive knowledge of civil engineering principles, techniques, and equipment.
* Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
* Must be physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions.
