We often say that a visitor may spend their whole day on National Trust land but never realise it. We aim to change that by engaging our visitors with a warm welcome and the ability to offer the advice that can turn a good day out into a great one. The team has a lot of experience and will help train and develop you, and other newer members of the team can support you as they know what it is like working solo for the first time.You'll work across multiple outdoor locations within the valleys of Borrowdale and Buttermere. As part of a wider team you'll also get the chance to experience areas such as Wasdale and Wordsworth House & Garden in Cockermouth.This role would suit you if you care about the outdoors and want to help visitors get the most out of their visit and can look at the group in front of them and be able to put themselves in their shoes to make the right recommendations and offer the right advice.
