We have full time and part time opportunities for Registered Nurses within the Critical Care department at The William Harvey Hospital in Ashford, Kent. We pride ourselves on delivering consistently high standards of holistic care, reflected in our CQC reports, ICNARC data, performance metrics and feedback from patients, relatives and visitors to our unit.
About the department
We have a busy, mixed level unit admitting emergency and elective patients from a variety of specialties, including maxillo-facial surgery and PCI covering Kent. We are a friendly, supportive, dynamic team with a strong commitment to professional development.
Education and development
We are seeking enthusiastic, caring and self-motivated registered nurses who aspire to making a positive contribution to the care of critically ill patients. If you are newly qualified or already experienced in Critical Care, we will tailor an education package with our dedicated Critical Care Education team who will actively support and encourage your education and development. In return for your commitment and hard work, the Critical Care Education team provides Band 5 nurses with an excellent, structured development programme, supporting individuals to gain the required skills, knowledge and lifelong learning to become excellent Critical Care nurses. There will also be opportunities to access development links with Canterbury Christ Church University and the University of Greenwich.
