Personal Development Teacher – Secondary
Permanent | September Start | Full Time
We are an education recruitment agency working in partnership with a secondary school to recruit a Personal Development Teacher for a permanent position starting in September.
This role is suitable for a qualified secondary teacher with experience or training in Personal Development, PSHE, Citizenship or RSE, and is open to ECTs and experienced teachers.
The Role
1. Teaching Personal Development / PSHE / RSE at Key Stages 3 and 4
2. Delivering lessons covering PSHE, Citizenship, RSE, SMSC and British Values
3. Planning and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons
4. Working alongside pastoral and curriculum teams
5. Contributing to wider Personal Development initiatives across the school
The Ideal Candidate
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
7. Background in PSHE, Citizenship, RE, English, Sociology, Humanities or related subject
8. Experience delivering Personal Development / PSHE / Citizenship in a secondary setting
9. Strong classroom management and a commitment to student wellbeing and development
