We are seeking a PI Operative to assist the Stock Manager in maintaining stock integrity as well as ensuring that the stock levels held at the depot are all checked within the company standards.
You will carry out a full stock check on all items, carrying out date checks to establish if stock is being rotated correctly. You will be responsible for fully investigating any errors found and reporting those to the Stock Manager.
By checking pick locations you’ll ensure that products are defined on the stock labels, highlighting goods incorrectly located or identified in bulk locations. You will ensure that the warehouse complies with the company Health and Safety Policy, supporting accreditation processes and complying with all verbal and written instructions in matters pertaining to Health and Safety. Using your confident IT and administration skills you’ll navigate our bespoke systems maintaining our records to the highest of standards.
To be successful in this role you will have similar experience of working within a stock control department, particularly within the fast-moving food distribution industry. Having a detailed understating of stock control systems, strong analytical and problem solving skills are advantageous along with a possession of a relevant professional qualification.
You will be someone with good communication and organisation skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain high standards of accuracy when working to tight deadlines and under pressure.
