Job Description
Production Coordinator
The Production Coordinator supports the Production Manager in all administrative functions related to the production and delivery of customer vehicles. This role requires strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work closely with various departments and external partners to ensure vehicles move smoothly through production and are delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities
Upon delivery of the new vehicles, the Production Coordinator is responsible for issuing the build specification pack and distributing it to the relevant Team Leaders. They label all documentation.
They maintain and update the production schedule, ensuring all key information and changes are recorded accurately. This includes keeping the Master Production Schedule (MPS) current with daily updates and locking it weekly to allow for financial data reporting.

Regular customer communication is essential. The coordinator provides weekly updates on vehicle delivery schedules and ensures all shared information is accurate and up to date.
Additional responsibilities include generating Stage 2 Certificates of Conformity and scheduling any third-party fitments required during the build process. The role also involves general office support such as assisting visitors, answering phones, and providing cover for the Buyer when needed.
Skills and Experience
Ideal candidates will have previous experience in a production, logistics, projects or coordination role, preferably within the automotive sector. They should be highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident in using planning tools and systems such as MPS, as well as Microsoft Office applications.
Personal Attributes
The Production Coordinator should be proactive, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. A team-oriented approach and a focus on clear, professional communication are essential.
