Duty Manager, Malmaison. Salary from £30k - £32k depending on experience + TRONC. 45 hours. Permanent role in Birmingham. Set shifts. Competitive salary, career development. Working across multiple departments this Duty Manager role gives you the chance to work as part of the F&B and Front Office teams in our bustling hotel.
You will be a hands on manager with experience of working within a busy Food & Beverage Department. You will be looking for a role that will allow you to continue your development from Junior HoD to a Senior HoD role. As Duty Manager you will assist in the smooth running of all customer-facing departments - from working alongside the breakfast team, dealing with a busy check-out period through to checking bedrooms with the Housekeeping Manager. Experience in Guest Relations would be advantageous as would an interest in what is trending in the local area around the hotel.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the smooth running of all customer-facing departments across the hotel, including Food & Beverage, Front Office and housekeeping coordination with the Housekeeping Manager.
* Work alongside the breakfast team, manage a busy check-out period, and support bedroom inspections with Housekeeping.
* Provide guest relations support and monitor guest trends in the local area.
* Support progression opportunities toward Head of Department roles and potential advancement to DGM within Malmaison or Hotel Du Vin.
