Finance Assistant / Junior Accountant / Accounts Assistant required for a leading global engineering manufacturer on an 8-month contract.
The successful Finance Assistant / Junior Accountant / Accounts Assistant will support day-to-day finance operations including expenses, intercompany reconciliations, ledger support, credit control, and audit assistance within a small team environment.
The Finance Assistant / Junior Accountant / Accounts Assistant will ideally have Purchase Ledger experience, ERP knowledge, strong Excel skills, and be available to commit to a fixed-term contract ending November 2026.
Package: £15 £17 per hour (DOE)

Finance Assistant / Junior Accountant / Accounts Assistant Role: Process employee expenses and post month-end journals.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany agreements.
Lead monthly intercompany netting.
Support purchase ledger and credit control functions.
Assist with audit and ad hoc finance tasks.
Office-based near Chester.
Finance Assistant / Junior Accountant / Accounts Assistant Requirements: Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
High attention to detail.
Purchase Ledger experience with ERP knowledge (implementation desirable).
Proficient in Excel and online banking platforms.
Able to commute to Chester daily.
Happy with working a 8 month contract ending November 2026
