Account Manager – Electronics Manufacturing

One of our clients is a well established UK electronics manufacturing business, looking to appoint an Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts.
This is a commercially focused, client-facing role sitting between customers, engineering, and operations, with responsibility for ensuring orders are delivered on time, to specification, and to margin.
The role:
Manage and develop existing customer relationships (no cold sales!)
Act as the main commercial point of contact for assigned accounts
Handle client enquiries, quotations, and proposals
Coordinate internally to ensure delivery, quality, and cost targets are met
Support margin optimisation and account growth opportunities
Attend and contribute to client review meetingsAbout you:
Ideal candidates will have experience as an Account Manager within electronics manufacturing / EMS / CEM
Confident communicator with customers at all levels
Commercially aware with strong organisational skills
Comfortable working with technical teams and manufacturing environments
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
Willing to travel occasionally within the UK
Qualification in HNC or higher in a relevant engineering discipline is preferred.What’s on offer:
