Early Years Practitioner – Bognor Regis

We’re working in partnership with a warm and welcoming school in Gosport who are looking for a nurturing Early Years Practitioner to join their team. If you’re passionate about supporting young children to thrive emotionally, socially and academically – we’d love to hear from you!
Contract: Full time – September 2025 start
Salary: £13 - £15 per hour (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting children’s learning and development through a mix of child-led and adult-initiated activities
* Encouraging independence, curiosity and social confidence in every child
* Helping to establish clear routines that promote calm, consistency and a sense of security
* Planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework and classroom ethos
* Observing, recording and contributing to the assessment of children’s progress
* Supporting children with additional needs where required
* Providing personal care and promoting wellbeing throughout the day
* Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, confidentiality and professionalism
What We’re Looking For:
* A Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (preferred, but not essential)
* Experience in a nursery or early years classroom setting
* A sound understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development
* A warm, patient and enthusiastic approach, with a good sense of humour!
* A team player with strong communication skills and a genuine love for helping little ones grow
* A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and child-centred practice
* Confident English, Maths and IT skills
