As a Principal Civil Water Engineer, you'll play a vital role in water/wastewater treatment, storage, supply, and collection systems on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic projects at home and abroad.
We specialise in water treatment across multiple sectors, supporting our wider Infrastructure Division in Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development, and Education. We deliver industry-leading engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle, including client-side support and construction phases. Currently, we have opportunities in our Glasgow office.
Your Purpose
1. Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant standards and codes, ensuring high-quality outputs.
2. Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
3. Manage time and budgets effectively to meet project milestones and programmes.
4. Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
5. Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
What You Can Bring
1. Chartered Civil Engineer.
2. Experience in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
3. Knowledge of water and/or wastewater treatment, storage solutions, hydraulics, water supply, and wastewater collection systems, with familiarity with UK standards.
4. Proficiency in digital analysis packages like HADES, Infoworks, EPANET, following local and national guidance.
