The Role
As a Freelance Employability Tutor specialising in Warehousing & Logistics, you will deliver engaging, hands-on training to adult learners across the East Midlands.
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering practical training in warehouse operations, health & safety, manual handling, and stock control
* Embedding employability skills to prepare learners for the workplace
* Supporting learners in achieving Level 1 and Level 2 Warehouse & Storage qualifications
* Mentoring and motivating individuals to build confidence and job readiness
* Assessing learner progress and maintaining accurate documentation in line with funding requirements

Ideal Candidate
You’ll bring a strong background in warehousing or logistics, along with a passion for supporting adults into work.
You will ideally have:
* Experience delivering training in warehousing, logistics, or employability programmes
* Solid knowledge of warehouse operations and health & safety practices
* A recognised teaching or assessing qualification (AET/PTLLS, DET/DTLLS, TAQA or equivalent)
* A confident and engaging delivery style with strong interpersonal skills
* A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
Desirable (but not essential):
* Experience with AEB or DWP-funded programmes
* A background in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain roles
