Superintendent Pharmacist – Grove Pharmacy, Solihull (B91 2AG)
Grove Pharmacy is a busy independent community pharmacy in Solihull, dispensing around 8,000–10,000 NHS items per month. We are looking for a motivated and community-focused Superintendent Pharmacist to join our team and take a lead role in shaping our pharmacy's future.
This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist who enjoys working closely with patients, delivering high-quality NHS services, and driving innovation in an independent setting with the full support of experienced pharmacy directors and a strong dispensary team.
About the Role:
* Lead the pharmacy team to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centred care.
* Deliver and grow a wide range of NHS services including Pharmacy First, Hypertension Case Finding, NMS, Flu & other vaccination services, and NHS contraception.
* Maintain compliance with GPhC standards, NHS contractual obligations, and clinical governance.
* Use ProScript and eCASS to support safe and efficient dispensing processes.
* Work collaboratively with local GP surgeries, care homes, and community partners.
* Support the development of staff to ensure a positive team culture.
* Contribute to the business growth of the pharmacy through service expansion and sound business decision-making.
Working Hours:
* 44 hours per week
* Shift pattern: 9am – 9pm, with flexibility in days worked
* Well supported by trained dispensers, counter staff, and pharmacy directors
What We're Looking For:
* GPhC Registered Pharmacist with a passion for community pharmacy.
* Strong knowledge of NHS pharmacy services and clinical pathways.
* Experience with ProScript and eCASS systems.
* Good leadership skills and ability to inspire and develop a team.
* Sound business acumen and enthusiasm for helping an independent pharmacy grow.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trusted patient relationships.
