As an Operations Specialist at Kenyon International Emergency Services, you'll play a vital role in both day-to-day operations and emergency response efforts for over 600 of the world's leading companies. Whether managing complex logistics or supporting crisis activations, your work ensures our clients receive the swift, professional assistance they depend on. This role sits at the heart of our Operations Department, focused on ensuring the readiness and delivery of critical equipment, facilities, and services in response to incidents worldwide. While experience in a similar role is helpful, we know our work is highly specialised and welcome candidates form multiple backgrounds, particularly business operations, logistics, compliance, or emergency services. You Will: (Service Delivery) - Ensure readiness of Kenyon's global equipment, facilities, and resources for deployment - Manage Bracknell warehouse operations and inventory reporting - Build and organise deployable response kits (PPE, mortuary, first aid, admin, family assistance supplies) - Support health and safety activities, including fire checks, evacuation drills, and related tasks - Identify, assess, and pre-contract suppliers to enhance Kenyon's supply chain - Recommend new technical equipment for incident response (e.g., GPS, radios, satellite phones) - Maintain and update SOPs to reflect operational, commercial, and environmental changes - Provide admin support: scheduling, logistics, reporting, database maintenance, and task tracking (Incident Response) - Act as Deputy Crisis Management Centre (CMC) Manager when required - Deploy in crisis roles to support clients during incidents; this includes supervising teams and frequent travel (Regulatory Alignment) - Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including Health & Safety, Data Protection, and Family Assistance Law (Quality Assurance) - Identify and support process improvements and promote a Quality Management culture - Assist in external ISO9001 audits to ensure system compliance (Business Development) - Attend client meetings and site visits, supporting commercial efforts through presentations and warehouse tours About You: Someone who is comfortable working anywhere - this could be an office, a warehouse or a disaster field environment An ability and willingness to travel nationally and overseas, and be away from home for several weeks at a time in the event of an incident deployment (this is not a regular occurrence) A willingness to be on call 24/7 in case of an incident, so flexibility is key Strong communication (written and verbal) skills A self-starter with solid organisational skills, task focused. An excellent team player especially in response and deployment environments. Proficient ability in IT systems, specifically Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Desirable but not essential: A qualification in, or evidence of continued professional development in the area of emergency response, disaster management and/or crisis intervention Knowledge of administrative and logistical functions of an emergency response activation, including arranging travel, cargo shipments, accommodations and other immediate needs of the deployment team, when acting as Deputy Crisis Management Centre (CMC) Manager About Kenyon: Welcome to Kenyon International Emergency Services - where providing care and helping to restore order in the aftermath of crises and disasters is our mission and our passion.
