We are looking to recruit a Security Officer to join our Risk & Compliance (Security) Team. This a full-time, permanent position. This position will be required to cover day and night shift, on a rotation basis (4 on 4 off shift pattern) working 12 hours shifts.
This position will be responsible for the practical application of security measures which include the wellbeing of employees and guests according to agreed policies of the Hotel and the procedures and objectives as set out by the Risk & Compliance Manager.

Security Officer's key responsibilities include:
Assesses and reports potential loss situations in the hotel to protect company, guests and employees property against theft from both inside and outside the premises.
Investigates and reports all thefts and criminal offences occurring in the hotel and during the shift, compiling all necessary crime reports and statements.
Reports and when possible correct all breaches of safety regulations including smoking restrictions, and assist as directed with prevention of accidents.
Reports in the manner directed all accidents affecting employees or property, having carried out a full investigation.
Records all occurrences concerning the security department and to record all other incidents in the appropriate books and documents provided.
Patrol around the hotel
Providing assistance and dealing with emergency situations including fire alarms and first aid treatment
