FCRMS Asset Management Business Systems Team Senior Advisor - 32232

The Asset Management Business Systems Team supports all EA teams and suppliers in their use of carbon tools and ensures they become a core asset management system operating with other AMBST supported tools for the infrastructure programme and asset management. We need a senior advisor to help manage and improve our operational carbon tools, deliver services, manage resources and lead digital improvement projects.
Responsibilities
 * Support EA and external users of operational carbon tools
 * Manage and deliver a range of services to users of carbon tools
 * Agree and maintain services with a range of user groups
 * Act as a senior product user for digital improvement projects of our carbon tools and data
 * Plan and manage user activities in the implementation of carbon tool changes and improvements
 * Manage resource and funding for carbon tools support and maintenance
 * Work with operational carbon communities and national leads as required
 * Collaborate with IT suppliers and EA colleagues, including FCRM, Operations teams throughout England, Defra’s Digital, Data and Technology Services (DDTS), local authorities, water companies, internal drainage boards and the civil engineering supply chain.
Qualifications
 * Significant experience and knowledge in carbon management in infrastructure assets, projects or programmes.
 * Experience in asset management and/or infrastructure business processes.
 * Experience in digital tool development or user implementation services.
 * Experience in development of training and documentation.
 * Knowledge and skills in stakeholder engagement and effective communications.
 * Ability to identify, analyse, evaluate and implement improved ways of working.
 * Ability to take decisions and solve complex business problems.
 * A strong focus on efficiency, innovation and quality.
 * Strong focus on customers and partners and ability to build and sustain relationships.
 * Ability to manage yourself and work on your own initiative.

The role is predominantly office‑based, but travel may be required occasionally. Any location for your office base is acceptable.
