CNC Miller Adept Resourcing are recruiting on behalf of their client for multiple CNC Machinists to join a growing and progressive business operating at the forefront of high-precision engineering. About the Role as a CNC Miller: Reporting to the Team Leaders, your primary responsibility will be to set and operate CNC machines to deliver high-quality precision components. Key Responsibilities as a CNC Miller include: * Setting and operating CNC machines in line with required quality standards, procedures, engineering drawings, and specifications. * Programming machines to prepare jaws, parallels, jigs, or fixtures for each batch run. * (Dependent on experience) Programming machines for small batch runs. * Proving out first-off production in collaboration with Production Engineers, before running batches to SOPs and routing instructions. * Working with a range of materials, including alloy steels, nickel-based alloys, super alloys, stainless, and duplex alloys. * Interpreting engineering drawings and working with both imperial and metric measures. * Using a wide range of measuring equipment and applying inspection procedures for in-process and first-off batch control. * Collaborating with production support departments including production control, engineering, inspection, and maintenance. * Operating computer systems for program loading and recording of work activities. * Supporting training activities within the team. * Driving productivity and working positively in line with company quality, health, safety, and environmental standards. * Carrying out any other duties reasonably expected within the role. The Person * Time-served (or equivalent qualification) in CNC machining, with experience in both CNC Turning and Milling. * Strong communication and problem-solving skills. * Good knowledge of production processes and systems. * Ability to work to high standards within time constraints. * Flexible and motivated approach to shift-based working (40 hours per week).
