Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools in Bolton, and we are seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join their teams. About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will support class teachers in delivering engaging lessons, working with small groups or individual pupils, and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Roles may be full-time, part-time, or flexible to suit your availability. Key Responsibilities: Supporting pupils' learning across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management Providing one-to-one or small group support, including for pupils with additional needs Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and independence Helping to maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment Requirements: Previous experience working with children (school-based experience preferred) A positive, proactive, and adaptable attitude Strong communication and teamwork skills A valid enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply) Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable but not essential Why Work with Tradewind Recruitment?
