Job Title: Staff Nurse - Band 5 Department: Digestive Diseases Unit Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week - on rotation Monday to Sunday Salary: £40,133 - £51,113 Contract: 9 Months Fixed-Term Location: 20 Devonshire Place, London W1 The London Clinic is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join our Digestive Diseases Unit on a 9-month fixed-term contract. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a highly specialised surgical setting, supporting patients undergoing complex gastro-intestinal and colorectal procedures. The Role As a Staff Nurse within our Digestive Diseases Unit, you will deliver exceptional standards of evidence-based nursing care to patients across the full surgical pathway. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will take responsibility for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, ensuring patient safety, dignity, and comfort at all times. You will manage your own caseload as a named nurse, maintain accurate clinical records, and promote safe, effective practice in line with The London Clinic's values and professional standards. About You We are looking for a confident and adaptable nurse who demonstrates clinical excellence, compassion, and professionalism. Essential requirements:

1. NMC Registered Nurse
2. Previous experience working on acute surgical wards
3. Competent in post-operative care, including epidural and PCA management, venepuncture/cannulation, and enteral or parenteral feeding
4. Strong teamwork and communication skills with a patient-centred approach
