A major international law firm is looking to hire a junior Projects & Energy Associate (1–3 PQE) to join its well-established and expanding Energy & Infrastructure group.
The team has a strong track record advising on major domestic and international energy and infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on renewables, energy-from-waste, district heating, hydrogen, grid infrastructure, and wider energy transition initiatives. The practice works with public bodies, utilities, developers, and international investors across all stages of the project lifecycle.
This role offers exceptional variety and early responsibility within a genuinely collaborative and supportive environment.
The Role:
* Advising on high-value energy and infrastructure projects, including project development, regulatory frameworks, procurement processes, and commercial contracting (including PPAs and EPC/O&M agreements).
* Supporting on public-private joint ventures and strategic infrastructure initiatives.
* Working in cross-practice teams with experts in real estate, finance, construction, and environment.

Candidate Requirements:
* 1–3 PQE with experience in projects, energy, infrastructure, or commercial contracts from a recognised practice.
* Strong commercial acumen and the ability to work effectively with both public and private sector clients.

* Excellent drafting skills, client service mindset, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
