The Role • Provide targeted speech and language support to students with identified needs. • Work 1:1 and in small groups, helping learners to develop communication, confidence, and social understanding. • Assist teachers and the SENCO in delivering tailored intervention plans. • Support students within the classroom, ensuring they remain engaged and motivated. • Help build a structured, positive learning environment that promotes independence. What We’re Looking For • Experience in speech and language therapy or communication-focused interventions. • Previous experience supporting secondary-aged students. • SEN qualifications or relevant Level 2/3 TA certificates (beneficial but not essential). • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting diverse needs.
