The role
You will provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower our young people to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they wish, in line with their individual support plans, you will need to be able to complete a range of records and documents.
Promote the health, well-being, physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual beliefs of the people supported and ensure they are met in an inclusive way.
If ever working days, facilitating social, educational and play or recreational activities of their choice. Supporting them to maintain contact with families or significant others is a key priority.
Support children with their evening and night time routines, ensuring comfort, safety and consistency within the care setting.
The role requires you to undertake all aspects of household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and shopping. Our children also need to be supported to manage their personal care and hygiene.
