Job Role: IT Support Analyst
Site: Edinburgh
Salary: Between £30,000-£40,000 (depending on experience)
Concept Life Sciences is looking for an IT Support Analyst to join our Edinburgh site. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of supporting our staff and maintaining the systems that keep our science moving. You'll provide day-to-day technical support, help ensure security and stability across our IT estate, and play a key part in delivering projects that make a tangible difference to our business. What you will be doing:
As an IT Support Analyst, you'll be the go-to person for technical queries across the Edinburgh site, while also working closely with colleagues at other CLS locations. You will:
* Deliver first and second line support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and core business applications.
* Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and other enterprise systems used across the company.
* Assist with user onboarding, device deployment, and system configuration.
* Help maintain network connectivity, security, and backup solutions.
* Take part in IT projects, from system upgrades to security improvements, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
* Provide clear communication and excellent customer service to staff at all levels.

You'll play a vital role in ensuring industry-standard security, managing systems, and providing exceptional support to our staff. Someone with 1st line and good 2nd line expertise willing for personal development and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide prompt technical support to end-users.
* Manage software, hardware, and voice systems.
* Participate in IT projects, meeting deadlines and budgets.
* Maintain Microsoft systems and ensure network security.
* Assist in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
* Handle user setup and PC deployments.
* Assist with business recovery plans and test procedures.
* Effective communication and documentation skills.
Requirements:
* Strong Windows OS troubleshooting skills (Windows 10/11).
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory.
* Knowledge of cyber threat landscape and countermeasures.
* Familiarity with networking (DNS, DHCP, IP routing).
* Ability to support 200+ user environments onsite and remotely.
Advantageous Requirements:
While we value expertise in all IT areas, candidates with knowledge in the following areas are preferred:
* Microsoft 365/Azure administration.
* Windows Server management.
* Storage management (NAS or SAN).
* Mobile device support (Tablet, Android/iPhone).
* Backup and replication software (Veeam)
* Knowledge of Cyber Essentials or ISO27001.
* Interest or experience in Cyber Security platforms/techniques or risk Management.
