Butler Rose public practice are excited to be supporting a modern and growing accountancy firm in Hampshire. This is a forward thinking firm who utilise state of the art technology to help their clients make the most of the finances and financial planning.

Main Duties
* Working in client focused team alongside a relationship manager and Client Finance Assistants
* Supporting the success of your portfolio of clients
* Overseeing the delivery of all services to your portfolio of clients including:
* Draft statutory financial statements
* Bookkeeping
* Management accounts
* Payroll
* CIS
* VAT
* Developing client process manuals
* Reviews of annual statutory accounts and corporation tax computations
* Investigating and responding to technical accounting queries
* You will also be involved in audit work for a number of the firm's audit clients

About you
* An accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)/due to qualify within 6 months/Qualified by Experience
* Experience and working knowledge of bookkeeping, management accounts, statutory accounts and finance processes
* 4+ years' experience working within an accountancy practice
* Strong computer skills, with strong experience in Excel
* Experience with cloud accounting systems (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Dext, GoProposal)
* Excellent client service skills, including the ability to build trust and rapport quickly, including experience of dealing with small business owners
* Staff management experience would be preferable, but not integral
