Job Title: Warehouse Assistant
Location: South Godstone, Surrey
Salary: £27,000 per annum + Overtime (1.5x basic rate)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Benefits: Overtime paid at 1.5x basic rate, 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays (increasing after 2 years), Company pension scheme & Free on-site parking!
About the Role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistant to join a busy and supportive team in South Godstone. This is a varied role combining hands-on warehouse duties with elements of transport support and basic administration. Training will be provided where needed, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their skills and take on a key role in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate a forklift safely to load, unload, and move stock.
* Support daily warehouse activities, including goods-in/goods-out and stock control.
* Assist with transport tasks, including vehicle checks and scheduling.
* Carry out basic administration using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Keep accurate records and follow company procedures.
* Drive company vehicles when required (must be over 25 for insurance purposes).
* Work closely with the team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Requirements:
* Valid forklift licence (essential).
* Full UK driving licence (age 25+ for insurance purposes).
* Previous warehouse experience.
* Confident computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Strong communication and organisational abilities.
* Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
