We are looking for a detail-focused Legal Cashier to support a busy finance team. This is a full-time, office-based role, with some flexibility where needed.
What you'll do
Monitor and update firm accounts each day
Handle incoming and outgoing payments accurately and in line with regulatory requirements
Prepare and process invoices and financial entries
Work with fee-earners to resolve account queries and close client matters promptly
Assist clients with payment enquiries, including card transactions
Record cheque receipts and maintain accurate financial logs
Flag and help resolve any compliance issues
Support general finance tasks as needed
What you'll bring
Experience working with client account systems and bank reconciliations
Ideally, an understanding of SRA client-money rules
Strong communication skills and a calm, organised approach
Ability to manage time effectively and adapt to changing priorities
