We’re looking for a Field Sales Executive, Mandarin Speaking to join our Scotland team. In this role, you’ll help us expand our restaurant network across the Glasgow & surrounding areas, ensuring the best Chinese cuisine is available to our customers. You’ll be joining the Chinese Category team within the UKI Commercial function.
Responsibilities
* Prospect and close top‑tier Chinese restaurants across Scotland and the surrounding areas to build a market‑leading proposition.
* Act as a city‑level expert, using physical visits, calls, and social media to demonstrate Deliveroo’s technology to partners in Mandarin or Cantonese.
* Oversee the restaurant journey from contract signature to go‑live, ensuring the process is seamless, efficient, and rapid.
* Monitor and drive the performance of newly signed partners during their first eight weeks on the platform to ensure long‑term growth.
* Represent Deliveroo at restaurant and food meet‑ups, staying ahead of industry trends and what customers crave most.
Qualifications
* Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is essential for building authentic partnerships within this category.
* Proven ability to negotiate complex deals and a strong understanding of the economics of food delivery.
* A self‑starter mindset with the motivation to hit demanding sales targets and take full ownership of your territory.
* A valid driving licence and access to a car, with a willingness to travel across Glasgow and the wider region.
* Significant experience in face‑to‑face pitching and building rapport with diverse business owners.
* Nice to have: fluency in Cantonese; existing network within the regional Chinese restaurant or hospitality industry.
