RMS for Girls is situated on a historic estate with buildings built primarily in the 1930s, some with listed status and many with interesting architectural features. The school is a thriving independent girls’ day and boarding school in the UK, with approximately 900 pupils aged 2 to 19 and around 250 teaching and support staff, situated on over 300 acres of parkland near Rickmansworth in Hertfordshire. The Premises Manager provides operational leadership for the development and maintenance of the School estate and facilities, bringing innovation, creativity and cost-effectiveness. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations (DFO), the Premises Manager has overall responsibility for delivering a professional buildings management service within the annual budget and also oversees capital projects, together with key aspects of health and safety management for the School.
We require a flexible and analytical individual with a pragmatic “can-do” approach. You will be highly motivated, with strong project and team management experience, alongside excellent communication and organisational skills. Experience of working in the Education sector would be advantageous.
