1. Location: Bellshill (ML4 3NY)
2. Contract: Full-time, Permanent
3. Shift Pattern & Hours: Monday – Friday – dayshift flexible start times
4. Pay: £20.60 per hour (plus premiums)
Role Responsibilities
As a Workshop Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the garage workload, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards. Key responsibilities include:
5. Managing Health & Safety standards and promoting a strong safety culture.
6. Overseeing trailer inspections and ensuring updates are completed daily.
7. Handling breakdowns during garage opening hours and coordinating repairs.
8. Approving holiday requests and maintaining accurate records.
9. Ordering parts and maintaining optimum stock levels, including raising PO numbers and updating KPI sheets.
10. Ensuring MOT processes and quality checks are completed.
11. Conducting random quality checks on inspections and repairs.
12. Performing monthly PPE checks and ensuring staff compliance.
13. Maintaining workshop cleanliness and ensuring all tooling and equipment are safe and calibrated.
14. Managing service paperwork and defect logs accurately.
15. Carrying out pre-use inspections on equipment and ensuring proper documentation.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who:
16. Has strong organisational and communication skills.
17. Demonstrates attention to detail and a proactive approach.
18. Can manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
19. Understands Health & Safety standards and compliance requirements.
20. Has experience in a workshop or garage environment (preferred).
