Start date: As soon as possible.
Location: Ark Alexandra Academy, Hastings, East Sussex.
Salary: Ark Outside London Support Scale 1, Pay Point 2 (£23,723) pro rata (actual salary: £6,394.97).
Hours: Part-time – 10 hours per week, between the hours of 3.30pm – 6.30pm, 39 weeks per year plus 5 weeks to be worked in the school holidays (exact timings will be discussed at interview).
Contract: Permanent.

Overview
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our hard-working team who clean our two campuses. You will have your own dedicated area and will have access to a range of online training for your role. As part of the cleaning team, you will play a vital role creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our students, staff and visitors. Qualifications
* Have experience of cleaning to a high standard, preferably in a school environment.
* Pay attention to detail and have a strong commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
* Be available to work between 3.30pm – 6.30pm, Monday to Friday (exact timings will be discussed at interview).
* Be able to take ownership of tasks and complete to a high standard.
* Have good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
* Be able to manage a high-volume workload & prioritise accordingly to meet deadlines.
* Have the ability to work independently and follow instructions.
* Be flexible in covering other team members when required, even if it’s on the other campus.
