Job Title: Supply Cover Supervisor

Salary: £110–£150 per day (dependent on experience)
About the Role
We are seeking confident and adaptable Supply Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Hull on a full-time, temporary basis. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about education who want to gain hands-on classroom experience across a range of subjects and year groups.
As a Supply Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absences, deliver pre-set lesson plans, and maintain a positive learning environment that encourages engagement and good behaviour.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise pupils using pre-prepared lesson materials across various subjects.
* Manage classroom behaviour and promote a focused learning atmosphere.
* Support students with tasks and maintain engagement throughout lessons.
* Provide feedback to teaching staff on attendance, progress, and behaviour.
* Uphold school safeguarding and behaviour policies at all times.
Requirements
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
* The confidence to manage a classroom independently.
* A desire to support young people’s education.
* Previous experience in a school or with young people is desirable but not essential.
* A degree or background in any subject area is welcomed.
* Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
