The role
You will be responsible for setting and executing the overall digital strategy for our client portfolio, ensuring exceptional performance across all digital channels whilst leading and developing our digital team.
You will also help spearhead XD’s AI transformation with our CEO, leading initiatives that integrate artificial intelligence into every stage of our client and internal workflows, and identifying opportunities to create scalable, next-generation marketing solutions.
Strategic leadership and performance management
* Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned to client business objectives and agency growth goals
* Take ownership of campaign performance, implementing strategic optimisations
* Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews with key clients, presenting insights and future strategy recommendations
Team leadership and client development
* Lead and mentor the digital marketing team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance
* Act as a senior advisor to key clients on their digital marketing strategy and long-term growth plans
* Identify opportunities to expand our service offering and grow client relationships
* Collaborate with our Client Success Managers to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction
Hands-on strategy and innovation
* Maintain hands-on involvement where needed
* Lead the development of innovative campaign approaches and testing methodologies
* Stay current with platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging digital marketing technologies
* Ensure all strategies are compliant with healthcare marketing regulations and best practices
Skills and experience
* Proven experience implementing or leading AI-driven marketing strategies, tools, or systems
* 5+ years experience in digital marketing management roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity
* Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing strategies that drive measurable business growth, for local businesses
* Deep expertise across all digital marketing channels including paid media, SEO, social media, email marketing, and CRO
* Specific experience and knowledge of Local SEO
* Strong analytical skills with solid experience using GA4
* Proven ability to lead and develop marketing teams in a fast-paced environment
