Admin Assistant – 15 hours

BPAS is looking for an experienced Admin Assistant to join our Bournemouth unit on a part‑time basis (15 hours per week, Monday, Thursday, Friday). The role is a 6‑month fixed‑term contract.
Responsibilities
* Answer and direct telephone queries, liaising with internal and external colleagues.
* Accurately check or complete BPAS and legal paperwork, ensuring all relevant documentation is available for the client's episode of care.
* Monitor, edit and amend appointment list using the BPAS booking system and inform clients of any changes.
* Assist in monitoring, controlling and ordering stock; sort and distribute incoming mail; prepare and dispatch statistical information and reports.
Experience & Skills
* Experience of dealing face‑to‑face with clients who may be angry or upset in a care environment.
* Knowledge of clerical procedures, including checking documentation, telephone and reception duties.
* Good attention to detail, supportive towards colleagues and clients, and an effective team player.

Salary and Contract
£24,484 – £27,583 per annum pro‑rate (£13.08 – £14.73 per hour), depending on skills and experience.
Contract: 6‑month fixed term.
Shift Pattern
Monday 10:00 – 15:30 | Thursday 10:00 – 15:00 | Friday 09:30 – 14:00.

BPAS Bournemouth, 23‑25 Ophir Rd, Bournemouth, BH8 8LS.

Qualifications
* English and Maths qualification: GCSE A‑C or Functional Skills Level 2, or equivalent (GCSE 4* or NVQ level 2).
* Competent in Microsoft Office programmes (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
