Our mission is to support our trade customers with personalised service, expert product curated selections, fast delivery, and strategic partnership that help them thrive. Role Overview As our new Business Development Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving company growth—identifying new trade opportunities, strengthening existing relationships, and expanding our brand footprint across independent retailers in the UK. What You’ll Be Doing Prospect & Acquire Develop and nurture relationships with independent retailers, garden centres, and national chains to grow Wind Designs' market share across core categories—arts & crafts, plush, action figures, outdoor toys, Games, and more. Portfolio Expansion Introduce and promote new brands (e.g., Gui Gui launched in July 2025), strategically aligning with retailer needs and product trends. Strategic Sales Planning Co-create sales strategies and plans—including pricing proposals, promotional programmes, and trade shows—to maximise category presence. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with marketing, supply chain, and customer service teams to ensure seamless product delivery and retailer satisfaction. Product & Market Intelligence Stay ahead of toy and leisure market trends to provide insights on product performance and new retail opportunities. You’re a Great Fit If You Have A proven track record in B2B sales/business development —preferably within toys, leisure, or FMCG sectors. Confidence in approaching and managing independent retailers and national chains. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Analytical mindset—capable of spotting trends and translating them into actionable strategies. Self-driven and goal-oriented, yet collaborative. A UK driver’s licence (UK travel required). Passion for toys, games, and creative play (bonus points!). REF-223 799
