Skills & Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
* A strong understanding of the English National Curriculum.
* The ability to explain complex ideas in simple, exciting ways.
* Good at planning ahead and meeting deadlines.
* Experience in managing classroom behaviour effectively.
Key Duties:
* Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
* Lead interventions to help pupils prepare for their English GCSE assessments.
* Adapt teaching styles to support students of all ability levels.
* Maintain a productive, focused, and positive classroom environment.
* Mark student work and provide constructive feedback to drive progress.
* Ensure student safety and strictly follow school safeguarding protocols.
* Attend departmental meetings and contribute to lesson planning.
