We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Hospitality Team Member Apprentice. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment while working towards a recognised qualification.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
* To perform kitchen and cleaning duties in accordance with the School’s Health and Safety policy, COSHH regulations and all statutory health and safety requirements
* To prepare basic food items within agreed cooking methods, portion controls and as required
* To maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen and the dining area and ensure that a cleaning schedule is completed on a daily basis
* To assist in the production and service of special events as required
* To serve staff, pupils and visitors at service time to the required standard
* To check in and store deliveries in accordance with due diligence procedures
* To undertake such other work as requested up to or at a level consistent with the principal duties and responsibilities of the role

Training schedule
Food and Beverage Team Member Level 2.
You will be assigned a designated Vocational Trainer. Alongside this, you will agree on a personal learning and development plan, setting a timetable of learning activities in preparation for the End Point Assessment (EPA).
The Vocational Trainer will meet with the apprentice regularly either online or face-to-face to complete and review assessments, provide further coaching where required and agree the next steps of learning.

GCSE in:

* GCSE Maths (grade A*-C/9-4 or Level 2 equivalent)
