Supply Chain Analyst (Contract)
🗓 Initial 6-Month Contract
Arguile are supporting a defence aviation / aerospace manufacturing organisation undergoing a period of supply chain transformation, who are looking to appoint an experienced Supply Chain Analyst to support their procurement and category management teams.
This role will play a key part in enhancing supply chain visibility and data-driven decision making, working closely with buyers, commodity managers, and leadership to provide accurate, structured insights across the function.
Key Responsibilities:
* Extract, cleanse, and consolidate data from ERP systems and multiple sources
* Develop and maintain robust supply chain datasets to support procurement activities
* Analyse data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across spend, sourcing, and supplier performance
* Support category management and sourcing strategies through clear data presentation
* Enable improved decision-making by translating complex data into actionable insights
* Provide additional analytical bandwidth to procurement teams, supporting ongoing transformation activity
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in a Supply Chain Analyst / Procurement Analyst role
* Strong understanding of procurement, sourcing, and category management principles
* Experience within manufacturing and/or aerospace environments (highly desirable)
* Advanced capability with ERP systems and data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI, etc.)
* Ability to work with large datasets and present findings in a clear, structured format
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills and commercial awareness
* Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
Additional Information:
* Initial on-site presence required, with hybrid working available thereafter
* BPSS Clearance require so candidates must have full right to work in the UK
* Candidates should be within reasonable commuting distance so must be based in the South West UK
