About the Role As an Art Teacher, your responsibilities will include: Teaching Art and Design across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, with the potential to teach A-Level content. Planning and delivering engaging lessons across various media, such as drawing, painting, printmaking, and digital art, as part of the Art Teacher role. Inspiring students to think critically, foster creativity, and develop their own artistic style as an Art Teacher. Providing constructive feedback and support to ensure student progress and achievement in Art. Contributing to the broader life of the Art Department, including running art clubs, organizing exhibitions, and providing additional enrichment opportunities. Collaborating with colleagues to continually enhance the curriculum and share effective teaching strategies within the Art Department. ✅ What We’re Looking For We welcome applications from experienced Art Teachers who: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Art, Fine Art, or Art & Design. Have a proven track record of teaching Art at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, with experience delivering A-Level content. Are passionate about art education, with strong subject knowledge and a creative teaching approach. Can engage and challenge students of all abilities while maintaining high standards of achievement and behaviour as an Art Teacher.
