Operations Manager - Construction & Agri Supply Sector Location: Omagh, Co. Tyrone Full-time | Permanent Reed is delighted to be working in partnership with a leading construction supply company that operates across Ireland and the UK. This well-established business is a market leader in distributing and supplying products to the construction and agricultural sectors. Due to continued growth and expansion, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to join their team. This is a key leadership role, based at their main office near Omagh, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations with a strong focus on health & safety and maintaining high standards of housekeeping. Lead and coordinate day-to-day activities to promote high staff morale and performance. Manage stock control and rotation to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Oversee the company fleet including lorries, forklifts, and cars. Conduct driver briefings and debriefings for deliveries and collections. Ensure all paperwork and documentation is accurate and up to date. Manage a team including drivers, yard operatives, mechanics, and other operational staff. Monitor and control fuel usage and overheads, optimising driver hours through effective problem-solving. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety practices and Drivers Hours Regulations. Essential Skills & Attributes : Strong ability to work under pressure and make quick, effective decisions. Excellent attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude. Adaptable and able to embrace change in a fast-paced environment. Requirements: Minimum 2-3 years of managerial experience in a similar operational role. NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (must be passed). Full UK Driving Licence.
