Electrical Supervisor – Southampton – Immediate Start
£300 - £320 per day | Until September | Commercial Fit-Out Project
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join their team on a commercial fit-out project in Southampton.
This is an immediate start on a fast-paced project running through until September, ideal for someone who enjoys being site-based, leading from the front, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme.
As Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical labour on site, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining health & safety standards, monitoring progress against programme, and acting as the key link between the site team and project management.
Key Responsibilities
* Day-to-day supervision of electrical installation works
* Managing and coordinating site operatives and subcontractors
* Ensuring works are completed safely and in line with programme
* Conducting toolbox talks and site inductions
* Monitoring quality and compliance standards
* Liaising with the Project Manager, site management team and client representatives
* Managing materials, labour allocation and site documentation
* Supporting commissioning and project handover activities
Requirements
* Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor on commercial fit-out or building services projects
* Strong understanding of electrical installations and site delivery
* SSSTS or SMSTS
* ECS/JIB Card
* First Aid at Work (preferred)
* Ability to read drawings and coordinate works on site
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
