Shift: 2nd Shift Hours are: Monday-Thursday 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM
Responsibilities
* Job Summary: Layout, assembles, and welds a range of metals including stainless steel, aluminum, and steel. In addition, construct large complex units based on drawing and blueprints.
* Work from bill of materials (BOM), drawings, welding symbols, process sheets, blueprints, production schedule and check list.
* Move components into place from staging areas using crane to rig and move large assemblies and unit during construction process as required.
* Build fixtures using a variety of hand and power tools, welding machines, gas tanks, and torches.
* Set up and operate AC/DC welding equipment, select electrodes, gas flow amperage and other settings and weld components to suit requirements for configuration, structural strength, and visual appearance.
* Finish grind welds to meet cosmetic product standards.
* Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
* Consistently operate in keeping with all safety rules and requirements.
Requirements
* High School Diploma or Equivalent
* Aluminum TIG/MIG welding required.
* Blueprint reading experience.
