Description
* Process high volume payroll accurately and in a timely manner for all employees.
* Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
* Maintain and update employee payroll records.
* Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies effectively.
* Assist with the preparation of payroll reports for management review.
* Coordinate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
* Ensure proper deductions for pensions, taxes, and other contributions.
* Support the implementation of payroll system updates and improvements.
Profile
A successful Payroll Administrator should have:
* Experience in payroll processing, ideally large payrolls on fortnightly, weekly and monthly.
* Proficiency in payroll software packages and Microsoft Excel.
* Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
* Strong communication skills for liaising with internal teams and employees.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Job Offer
* Competitive salary between £30,000 and £35,000 per annum.
