Overview
Would you enjoy supporting young adults with learning difficulties—both in our lively, creative day centre in Horley and out in the heart of the local community in Redhill? As a Support Worker, you'll be involved in a variety of activities, both in our centre and out in the community, such as:
* Running or joining Project Radio and Project Café sessions
* Leading arts and crafts workshops
* Supporting community projects, events, and volunteering opportunities
* Accompanying trips, social activities, and community engagements
* Helping develop daily living skills in real-world situations
* Encouraging and empowering people to achieve their aspirations
Responsibilities
* Be enthusiastic, motivated, and ready to dive in—whether that's leading an art workshop, helping at a local event, or supporting someone to achieve their personal goals
* Participate in activities indoors and outdoors as part of centre and community engagement
* Support individuals to develop independence and social connections
Requirements
* Essential: a valid UK driving licence and access to a car for transporting service users
* Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check
* No previous experience needed—we provide full in-house training to set you up for success
* Flexible availability, including some weekends and evenings
