Clinical Negligence Solicitor – Birmingham
About the Role:
This is an opportunity for a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to independently manage a varied caseload within a highly regarded and supportive team. You will take a proactive, commercially aware approach to case progression, collaborate closely with colleagues and play a key role in delivering excellent outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Full accountability for running your own caseload
* Agree case strategy and tactics with senior leadership
* Identify cases ready for LOC, settlement, or service
* Ensure accurate and thorough time recording
* Oversee documentation and correspondence across the team
* Maintain strong commercial awareness in case management
Your Profile:
* NQ – 5 years PQE
* Recent experience managing a litigated caseload independently
* Strong drafting, negotiation and litigation skills
* Excellent organisational, time management and IT skills (Microsoft Office, Proclaim, Excel)
* High attention to detail and commercial awareness
* Confident mentoring junior colleagues
