Salary: £40,000 - 50,000 per year Requirements: Proven experience with respect to Computer Systems Validation or higher education qualification in computer science or related subject Understanding of IT Infrastructure and Networks Knowledge of IT Qualification activities Familiarity with Electronic Records and Electronic Signatures, e.g. USA 21 CFR Part 11, EU GMP Guidelines, Chapter 4, Annex 11 and GAMP 5 Understanding of Quality Management role within an IT Organisation Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Ability to create and execute project work plans Understanding of databases (e.g., Access) and spreadsheets Ability to write/review code is extremely beneficial Responsibilities: Assist in the coordination of computer systems validation projects Work with relevant Change Owner for all GxP IT systems, focusing on risk identification and mitigation Prepare and execute CSV deliverables, including validation protocols, reports, and periodic reviews Provide system support and manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) for quality deviations Author SOPs and Work Instructions for software systems operation, maintenance, and compliance Collaborate with IT staff and Process Owners to ensure compliance of IT and software systems Ensure proper CSV procedures during system implementations Provide CSV support for new software projects throughout the project lifecycle Validate planning and support CSV during internal and external audits Collaborate with the Validation department to align CSV compliance processes with site validation policies Research and propose new technologies for implementation Comply with policies related to data privacy or information security Technologies: Support REST Security More: We are seeking a Validation Engineer to join our team in Runcorn, where youll work fully on-site.
